WiP

Eigentlich wollte ich zwar alle der folgenden Miniaturen erst fertig zeigen, da meine Motivation momentan aber einen Tiefpunkt erreicht hat, sind hier einige Bilder des momentanen Zustands...

I actually planned to show just pictures of the finished versions of the following miniatures, but as my motivation is really low right now there are some pictures of the progress...

Dies wird ein Wikingerlager, bestehend aus drei sitzenden und zwei stehenden Wikingern. Bisher habe ich zwei der sitzenden, sowie eine Axt und einen Schild angefangen. Sie sollen abgegossen und wahrscheinlich auch verkauft werden, also sagt mir Eure Meinung! ;-)

This is going to be a viking camp, made out of three sitting vikings and two standing ones. Until now I started two of the sitting ones, an axe and a shield. They shall be cast and probably also sold, so tell me your opinion! ;-)

  

Da mir das alte Modell von Balin und auch der neue (Starterbox) nicht ganz so zusagen, habe ich mich entschlossen, meinen eigenen zu modellieren. Es soll eine Mischung aus Khazad-Wache und  dem Fild-Balin werden. Evtl. landet er auch in der Gussform... ^^

As I don't really like neither the old model of Balin nor the new one (starter box) I decided to sculpt my own. It shall look somehow like a mix of a Khazad guard and the new film balin. Maybe it'll land in the mould as well... ^^

Überraschenderweise habe ich gestern auch mal wieder zum Pinsel gegriffen! Da mich der Drachenritter der Ostlinge so angelächelt hat, habe ich mich für ihn entschieden. Ich wollte mal NMM ausprobieren, bin aber (auf jeden Fall mit den Schwertern) nicht wirklich zufrieden. Was meint Ihr?

Surprisingly I painted yesterday again! As the Easterling Dragon Knight smiled in a friendly way I chose him... I wanted to try NMM but are not very pleased with it (especially not with the swords). What do you think?

 Um relativ einfach mehr Abrakhanwachen modellieren zu können, habe ich mich entschieden, eine Armatur zu gestalten. Es wird wohl noch eine weitere und deutlich mehr Details kommen...

To be able to sculpt quite easy more abrakhan guards, I decided to do an armatures. There will probably come another one and much more details...

 Und vorerst als letztes: Ein Banditenhauptmann! Es war eigentlich meine erste Auftragsarbeit, aber ich war dann eigentlich ziemlich zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis, sodass ich ihn auch abformen lassen werde. Daher ist der Dreschfleger abnehmbar (die Passgenauigkeit ist eigentlich ganz gut, der Flegel liegt auf dem letzten Bild nur nicht richtig). Es fehlen jetzt eigentlich nur noch die ganzen Details wie Taschen, Flicken usw.

Last but not least: My bandit captain. It started as my first comission work but during the process I was quite pleased so I'll let it be moulded as well. That is the reason for the flail being seperate (it actually fits quite well, it does just not lay right on the last picture). Now there are just all the details like bags and patches etc. missing.

Zwergenhauptmann fertig / Dwarf captain finished

Hallo, nachdem ich gestern noch einige Fehler bemerkt habe und auch einige Kommentare mit angebrachter Kritik (Danke!) bekommen habe, habe ich den Zwergenhauptmann überarbeitet.

Hello, after regognizing some mistakes and getting some comments with good critizism (Thanks!) I changed some little things on the Dwarf captain.


Zum einen habe ich die Position des Hauptmannes auf der Base geändert, dann habe ich den Helm noch einmal überarbeitet (Juwelen bemalt, Akzente an den grünen Stellen abgeschwächt), ein zwei Stellen, an denen ich übergemalt habe korrigiert, die Armschoner etwas stärker akzentuiert, sowie dem Mantel mehr Zwischenschritte verpasst.

I changed the position of him on the base, worked a little on the helmet (painted the jewels, smoothed the accents of the green parts), fixed on or two parts, where the colour got on the wrong place highlighted the arm protection more and smoothed the accents on the cloak.

Und zu guter Letzt noch ein Vergleichsbild mit meinem  ca. 2 Jahre alten Hauptmann, ich hoffe, man erkennt den Unterschied... ^^ Ach ja, damals war ich sehr stolz auf ihn. :-X

Last but not least a comparision picture with my round about 2 years old captain, I hope you can spot the difference... ^^ Oh, in the past I was proud of him. :-x

Zwergenhautpmann / Dwarf Captain

Hallo, ich habe heute einen schon vor längerer Zeit angefangenen Zwergenhauptmann fertig gestellt.

Hello, today I finished a long time ago started Dwarf captain.

Ich weiß nicht, ob man die Dinge auf den Fotos gut erkennen kann, daher nenne ich sie einfach: Juwelen am Gürtel, Orkblut an der Axtklinge und der Lederriemen am Axtschaft. Insgesamt bin ich ziemlich zufrieden, habe nur auf den Bildern wieder einige Stellen entdeckt, die ich verbessern werde, insbesondere den Helm.

I don't know, whether you can see those things on the foto, so I've listed them up: Jewels on the belt, ork blood on the axe blade and the straps on the axe. At all I'm pretty pleased with the result although I have already discovered several things I will repaint, especially the helmet.

Lasst mich wissen, was Ihr denkt!

Einige Mahud / Some Mahud

Ohne große Worte (sind ja sowieso immer ähnlich) meine ersten drei Mahud für eine 500 Punkte Mahud/Harad Armee für ein Turnier. Vielen Dank an dieser Stelle an all die Leute von HdR Tabletop, die mir noch Verbesserungsvorschläge genannt haben, jetzt finde ich sie schon besser!

Without much words (which are almost everytime the same) my first three Mahud for a 500 points Mahud/Harad army for a tournament. A thanks to all the guys from HdR Tabletop who gave me some great tipps, I'm very pleased with the newer result.

P.S.: Die Baseränder werden noch bemalt, ich muss mich nur für eine Farbe entscheiden... Und das Grasbüschel auf der zweiten Base liegt nur provisorisch drauf, ich hole mir demnächst andere.

P.S.: The edges of the bases will get some paint, I simply  have to decide which colour to choose... And the grass on the second base is not glued on, I will buy some better ones soon.

Gandalf auf Karren / Gandalf on cart

Hallo allerseits,

ich habe gestern Gandalf auf Karren von Citadel fertiggestellt. Es handelt sich noch um die Zinnversion, die Brücke stammt von eBob-Miniatures und ist das Weihnachtsgeschenk für meinen Vater. Die Bilder hat netterweise ein Freund von mir gemacht, an dieser Stelle vielen Dank!

Hello everyone,

I finished Gandalf on cart from Citadel yesterday. The model is the old tin version, the bridge was done by eBob-Miniatures and it is a Christmas Gift for my dad. The pictures took a friend of mine, thanks for that!

 Dieses Jahr wird wahrscheinlich nichts mehr kommen, ich bin immer noch dabei, das Diorama von der Bruinenfurt fertigzustellen, also...

This year there will probably not come any progress as I am still working on the diorama of the ford of Bruinen so...

Gandalf Sockel / Plinth

Ich bin mit dem Sockel für Gandalf auf Karren fertig geworden. Der Sockel und die Brücke stammen von eBob - Miniatures. Ich hatte das Glück, den letzten Sockel zu erwischen...
Leider sieht man von den Wassereffekten nicht viel, sie sind aber vorhanden. ;-)

I have finished a display plinth for Gandalf on cart. The brigde and the plinth are made by eBob-miniatures and I was happy to get the last one with the plinth.
Unfortunately the water effects are not vizible, but they exist. ;-)

Ich hoffe, sie gefällt Euch. Über ein paar Kommentare würde ich mich auch freuen...

Hobbit Poster

Das ist eine Tontrennung des Hobbit Posters, die ich im letzten Jahr im Kunstunterricht erstellt habe. Eine Tontrennung ist einfach ein schwarz-weiß Bild, nur das man halt nur schwarz und weiß, jedoch keine Graustufen hat. Die Umrisse wurden mehr oder weniger "abgepaust" und dann mit Edding bemalt.

This is a posterization I did in art classes last year. A posterization is simply a black and white picture, with the only difference that there is just black and white and no grey. The silhouettes are traced and then painted with a black Edding.

Nummer eins / Number one

Hier ist mein erster Nazgul für das Bruinenfurt-Diorama, er ist bis auf den Pferdeschweif fertig. Ich bin nicht 100%-ig mit ihm zufrieden, die Übergänge könnten deutlich weicher sein, das Problem ist nur, dass man das bei 9 Nazgul nicht mehr unbedingt sieht und ich auch etwas unter Zeitdruck stehe. Deshalb habe ich versucht, irgendwie einen Mittelweg zu finden, mal gucken, ob ich die anderen auch so bemale. Eine Sache die ich auf jeden Fall wieder gelernt habe: Das gründliche Zusammenbauen, Lückenfüllen, Entgraten und Grundieren macht die Bemalung am Ende deutlich einfacher...

This is my first Nazgul for the diorama of the ford of Bruinen. He is out of the horse tail finished. I am not completely pleased with him, the blendings could be much smoother. The problem is that you do not really see this with nine Nazgul and that I have some time pressure. That is why I tried to find a compromise, I'll see whether I will paint the others the same way. One thing I learned again: The thorough assembling, gap filling, deflashing and priming makes painting much easier...

Ich hoffe, Ihr findet ihn nicht zu hässlich. ;-)
